Bitbucket create submodule12/30/2023 ![]() Git log # still commits from Project Slingshot Git log # log shows commits from Project Slingshot On the command-line, Git commands issued from slingshot (or any of the other folders, rubber-band and y-shaped-stick) will operate on the “parent repository”, slingshot, but commands you issue from the rock folder will operate on just the rock repository: cd ~/projects/slingshot You can interact with all the content from rock as if it were a folder inside slingshot (because it is). That’s it! You’ve embedded the rock repository inside the slingshot repository. On GitHub, the rock folder icon will have a little indicator showing that it is a submodule:Īnd clicking on the rock folder will take you over to the rock repository. If everything looks good, you can commit this change and you’ll have a rock folder in the slingshot repository with all the content from the rock repository. Newer versions of Git will do this automatically, but older versions will require you to explicitly tell Git to download the contents of rock: git submodule update -init -recursive In the slingshot repository: git submodule add rockĪt this point, you’ll have a rock folder inside slingshot, but if you were to peek inside that folder, depending on your version of Git, you might see … nothing. You can add rock as a submodule of slingshot. You’ve got code for y-shaped stick and a rubber-band.įlickr photo shared by under a Creative Commons ( BY ) licenseĪt the same time, in another repository, you’ve got another project called Rock-it’s just a generic rock library, but you think it’d be perfect for Slingshot. Let’s say you’re working on a project called Slingshot. Submodules allow you to include or embed one or more repositories as a sub-folder inside another repository.įor many projects, submodules aren’t the best answer (more on this below), and even at their best, working with submodules can be tricky, but let’s start by looking at a straight-forward example. Git provides submodules to help with this. This is probably preferable to the above solution, since it saves the user the trouble of moving between different pull requests and keeps the review in one place.Eventually, any interesting software project will come to depend on another project, library, or framework. Instead of having separate pull requests in the child repos, there is just one pull request in the parent repo, covering all the changes. The GUI could be modelled on the Jira issue/subtask feature.
Whisperings solo piano concert12/30/2023 ![]() Behind the Songs 1) Rhythm of the Rain- Early one morning, the sky was dark and the clouds looked heavy, it felt like rain. An artistic package that conveys the music is so important. Seeing the CD in black reminded me of my old records, so we designed it to look like a 45 record, which tied the vintage feel with my idea of music as a souvenir perfectly! Even though digital music diminishes the need for a physical CD copy, I feel the artwork is a big part of the album. My graphic designer, Matt Strieby of New Leaf Design, was able to capture my idea perfectly! Deciding to keep the CD graphics simple, the first proof was a solid black CD with just my name and title. ![]() I liked these vintage suitcases and had the idea of old sheet music laying on top. ![]() When I began looking at images, I wanted the concept to reflect travels, memories and souvenirs while conveying the musical aspect. I hope the music takes you somewhere memorable! The Album Artwork I never really have a visual concept of the image I want for the album until I am actually finished recording. Every album I create is a musical journey and the songs are souvenirs. Each song has particular meaning to me, a memory, feeling or image. I chose the title Souvenirs because a souvenir is a memento or keepsake, but the object is only significant to the owner because of the memories attached to it. For many, hearing a certain song can remind you of a place or time in your life, recalling memories and stirring emotions. In the months following, the bits and pieces of melodies and variations began fitting together like a giant puzzle, until I had nearly 25 songs to record! Finally, in April 2014, I recorded at Piano Haven in beautiful Sedona on a magnificent Shigeru Kawai! After recording, I had to narrow it down to 14 songs which I felt belonged together on this album. As always, dealing with these difficult emotions resulted in lots of time on the piano, inspiring new compositions reflecting a myriad of emotions. Then, the loss of a dear friend to cancer, and the new diagnosis of this disease in close family members prompted me to take a step back and postpone the recording. When I sat down to practice a piece, I ended up writing down new ideas, until I had a complete binder full of music! As my recording date for fall 2013 approached, I was overwhelmed with this collection of mostly unfinished songs. Several songs on this album were written before the new piano arrived, but I found myself composing variations of this music, while also composing new pieces from beginning to end. ![]() However, I experienced a new surge of creativity, fueled by my new piano, a Kawai RX-7, with it's rich tone and incredible depth of sound, allowing me to express my feelings on the piano with a new freedom. Like all my albums, the writing came from many emotions and experiences, from feelings of joy and sadness, to gratitude and nostalgia. Currency converter doller to pound12/30/2023 ![]() This type of currency is called fiat money, and it is used in most countries in the world.īanknotes allowed for more efficient business transactions but posed a threat of inflation because a government could print as much paper currency as needed, and the increase in banknotes made them less valuable. The market value of a banknote, considering the materials it is made of and the workmanship, is usually lower than the face value that it is traded for. Some of the first banknotes were made of leather, around the 7th century in China. Eventually, it became currency by itself. At the beginning banknotes were a promissory agreement between the bank and the customer, stating that the banknote can be exchanged for coin currency at any time. Some of the first paper money was made in China and in the medieval Islamic world, and the idea was later adopted in Europe. With the invention of the printing press it became possible to print large amounts of material, and with time printed currency called banknotes became adopted. Robbers and pirates seized these coins, and merchants lost not only their merchandise but also money when ships sank, even if the crew could escape because it was not possible to rescue the heavy coins. Currency became such a medium.Īs the volume of traded goods increased, so did the amounts of coins that the merchants had to carry with them. For example, a family producing spring crops could only exchange them then, even if they needed late summer crops in return, so without some kind of the third medium of exchange, they could not get what they needed. In addition, with the growth of agriculture, it was difficult to exchange the two crops with different harvest times. ![]() Anthropologists debate whether gifts can be given without the expectation of reciprocity, but it seems that in most societies reciprocity happens as part of the gift-giving, whether it is expected or not.Īs human needs grew and became more complicated, it was more difficult to find a person who wanted the product that one produced, and at the same time had the product that one needed. In addition to barter, people exchanged gifts, and some researchers believe that this provided an insurance that gift receivers will reciprocate at a later time. For example, if one person made weapons like arrows, and another person was good at hunting, then exchanging food for weapons was simple, because it was easy to find someone with a need for food, as well as with a need for weapons. ![]() The need for variety in products was low during early history. Historically people exchanged goods and services based on the barter system, where a product or a service produced by one person was exchanged for a product or a service produced by another person. The need for currency arose with the growth in trade. The word “currency” refers to several notions: a set of items used for trade, a set of all forms of money issued by a particular country or region, banknotes, or all money in the world currently in circulation. ![]() Houzz fireplace tv12/30/2023 ![]() See …TV Stands & Entertainment Centers Corner TV Stands 285 Results Sort by Recommended Design Features: Corner Unit Product Type: TV Stand +1 Color TV Stand for TVs up to 65" by Fitueyes From $89.99 $124.99 ( 89) Free shipping +1 Color Corner TV Stand for TVs up to 65" by Fitueyes From $89.99 $95.99 ( 178) Free shipping +1 ColorCorner Entertainment Centers and TV Stands Popular Sizes Finish Customer Rating Style Dimensions Features (1) Frame Material Shelving Material Price Brand Sale Ships To Shipping Features: Corner Unit TV Stand Entertainment Center Modern Mid-Century Modern Contemporary Wood 60 Inch 65 Inch 70 Inch 72 Inch 80 Inch White Black Brown Walnut Sort by: oneinmil Modern Fireplace TV Stand for 65inch TV for Living Room, TV Cabinet with Electric Fireplace, Wood Texture Storage Cabinet, Media Entertainment Center with Cable Holes,58 Inch,Black 5.0 out of 5 stars 1 oneinmil Modern Fireplace TV Stand for 65inch TV for Living Room, TV Cabinet with Electric Fireplace, Wood Texture Storage Cabinet, Media Entertainment Center with Cable Holes,58 Inch,Black 5.0 out of 5 stars 1 garnet r34 THE 15 BEST Corner Entertainment Centers and TV Stands for 2023 | Houzz ON SALE - UP TO 75% OFF Bathroom Vanities Chandeliers Bar Stools Pendant Lights Rugs Living Room Chairs Dining Room Furniture Wall Lighting Coffee Tables Side & End Tables Home Office Furniture Sofas Bedroom Furniture Lamps Mirrors RENOVATION EVENT Up to 65% Off 1-48 of over 1,000 results for "corner entertainment unit" Results Price and other details may vary based on product size and color. Ropes, grappling hook attachment points and interactable objects get a shiny sheen to highlight them as possible solution options. Each puzzle room has a little hint-movie that pans the camera around, showing off some of the room's points of interest (usually the path you'll need to follow to get out). Finally, Lara is as responsive and agile as her occupation requires, and developer Crystal Dynamics' experience with third-person action adventures (Soul Reaver and Whiplash, to name a mere two) is evident in every jump and roll.Įverything about this game pushes you towards the conclusion of Lara's ever-expanding quest. Lara's controls are so refined that the early tutorial-style levels are predominantly geared not toward teaching you the controls, but to training you to look for clues to solve the game's myriad puzzles. Lara feels on target all the time - she's a whirling dervish of gunplay, gymnastics and personality unleashed with the flick of your finger on the controller. Throughout Tomb Raider: Legend there is a palpable sense of a perfected experience. Whether solving mind-wracking puzzles, gunning down foes with chilling ruthlessness, or exploring everything from steamy jungle waterfalls in Ghana to a frigid military base in Kazakhstan, the lady who vaulted the PlayStation into stardom has returned to recapture our hearts. With her trademark grace and charm, Lara Croft has completely reestablished herself as the supreme heroine of third-person adventure gaming. ![]() The designers at Crystal Dynamics have endeavored to apply their extensive experience in the 3D action genre toward reinvigorating one of gaming's most recognizable and beloved characters. A number of vehicles become available along the way, as well, for special gameplay sequences.įor the first time in the series, stalwart Eidos studio Crystal Dynamics (Gex, Legacy of Kain, Project: Snowblind) was developer of this Tomb Raider game, instead of the franchise's creator, Core. New equipment, such as the grappling hook and communication device, offer new abilities. While the storyline of Tomb Raider: Legend is told around the series' traditional "tomb raiding" action, Lara must also adventure through modern city levels, proving her acrobatic skill set is as applicable to skyscrapers and cement as it is to unforgiving wilderness and ancient architecture. The original Tomb Raider games were popular for their innovative blend of gaming styles as well as for their distinguished female lead, however, and this game is designed to return fans to the winning combination of 3D platforming, environmental puzzle-solving, and third-person shooting found in the blockbuster originals. Lara now boasts smoother animations, a more realistic deportment, and a number of costume changes. Lady Croft's new look in Legend is based in part on 20-year-old British model Karima Adebibe. Revamped physics and an enhanced control scheme allow for more free-flowing action, while graphical improvements present a redesigned Lara who is immediately expressive, more believably proportioned, and as strikingly attractive as ever. Indeed a legend in her own time, Lara Croft returns to home computers in 2006 with a new look, a new game, and a new developer. ![]() Easeus mobimover old version12/30/2023 ![]() It also allows the addition of digital signatures and comments. While most people can open a PDF file without any trouble, editing one can require additional software. But as convenient as they are for sharing, they are also notoriously difficult to edit. Today PDFs are one of the most common file types, and it’s hard to imagine a world without them. More importantly, the way it allowed people to share documents reliably, securely, and easily with others was revolutionary. A file format that could retain its look whether on a screen or a printed page was an idea long overdue. ![]() Then in 1990, John Warnock started an internal project at Adobe that would eventually lead to the creation of the Portable Document Format, or PDF. The very idea of sharing documents with full text and graphics was unthinkable in the early days of the Internet.
5 volt dc motors arduino12/29/2023 ![]() ![]() Although the main task of the relay is to control a load, how that relay is being operated by the Arduino makes it an interesting project. ![]() ![]() Interfacing a 5V Relay with Arduino opens up the door to a huge number of applications.A suitable option will be using additional isolation like an opto-isolator or completely eliminating the electromechanical relay and replacing it with solid state relay. CODEĪdvantages: The main and important advantage of connecting a 5V relay with Arduino is that it can be powered by Arduino itself.ĭisadvantages: A transistor based relay might not be ideal for long time use as there will always be noise in the relay coil. This condition can be used to trigger the 5V Relay and turn on the light. When the lighting conditions go dark (can be done by covering the LDR with hand), the output from the LDR will jump to 130 – 140. Under normal lighting conditions, the output from the LDR will be in the range of 80 – 90 (range is 0 – 255). Instead of using it directly, we designed a small application where an LDR is used to detect the light intensity and automatically turn on or off the relay. Let us discuss the working of the project.Īs mentioned earlier, by interfacing Arduino with 5V relay module, we intend to operate an AC load like lamp. The working of the project is based on the functioning of the Relay and the ability of Arduino to control the relay. Working of the ProjectĪ simple project, in which Arduino UNO controls a 5V relay is explained here. Since we need to control this relay with the help of Arduino, a transistor is used with an additional pin called Control Pin on the Relay Module. A relay is a type of a switch that acts as an interface between microcontrollers and AC Loads.Ī simple Single Pole – Single Throw (SPST) relay, like the one used in this project consists of 5 Terminals: 5V, GND, Normally Open (NO), Normally Close (NC) and Common (COMM). The advantage of using a 5V relay in this project is that the power supply for the relay can be directly given from the Arduino UNO board itself. The output of the LDR sensor is given to the Analog Input pin A0. Finally, the neutral wire from the mains is connected to the Common (COMM) contact of the relay.Ī small light sensor in the form of LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) is used to switch on or off the light automatically. Other terminal of the lamp is connected to Normally Open (NO) contact of the 5V Relay. the lamp, hot wire from the mains supply is connected to one terminal of the lamp. 5V and GND and connect the control signal from Arduino to control pin on the relay board.Ĭoming to the load part i.e. Most relay modules (whether 5V or 12V) will come with the aforementioned connection and hence all you need is to give power supply to the relay module i.e. ![]() Although the circuit diagram explains the detailed connections, practically we didn’t need to make all the connections. If you used a 12V relay like we used in this project Arduino Relay Control, you need to use a separate power supply for relay.Ĭoming to the design of the circuit, it is very simple as we used a 5V relay module and not the individual components. This makes it easy as Arduino can power up the relay directly. First thing is we used a 5V relay in this project. Let us now see how the circuit is designed. Wires for connecting DC Voltage components.2 x 1K Ohm Resistors (1/4 W – for Red and Green LEDs).Green LED (can be used as a Relay ON LED).Red LED (can be used as a Power ON LED).Arduino UNO (or any other Arduino board).Even though we have used a 5V Relay Module, the connections in this circuit diagram will be describe the complete setup.
